Q: I would like to buy a international term life insurance policy with your company and I have a question regarding a request from one of my contract administrators. They have requested a letter from my insurance company stating the amount insured for but more importantly, confirmation that I have coverage when working in the Gulf states (Qatar, Dubai etc.). Would this be something you would be able to supply on completion of my policy being processed? Answer: Please be sure to list on your application for Lloyd's International Term Life coverage the countries in the Gulf States in which you may travel or work during the policy period. Your completed application will go directly to our underwriters for evaluation. We will communicate with you via e-mail if our underwriters request any additional information based on the underwriting guidelines for Lloyd's International Term Life plan. Once our underwriters complete the evaluation, they will issue a statement either to confirm or deny the coverage that you applied for. We will e-mail you that information immediately. In short, our underwriters will not be able to issue the confirmation of coverage until they approve your application. If your application is approved, our underwriter will be able to provide the letter of confirmation for coverage that you request.
