Q: I am just completing the on-line purchase of a life insurance policy with your company and I have a question regarding a request from one of my contract administrators. They have requested a letter from my insurance company stating the amount insured for but more importantly, confirmation that I have coverage when working in the Gulf states (Qatar, Dubai etc.). Would this be something you would be able to supply on completion of my policy being processed?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: I plan to bring my parents over to live permanently in the USA in a few years and we cannot proceed with plans until we know if they can be covered medically at all before they would qualify for Medicare or if the cost would be at a level they could afford; hence we need some idea before we proceed with green card applications etc. Please advise.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: We plan to adopt a baby from South Korea. The baby is not born yet. How soon can we get the coverage for the baby? It will be several months before we can bring the baby to the States so we want to have a health plan that will cover him in South Korea as well as in the U.S. Please help.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: How much does medical evacuation cost from Sri Lanka back to the United States? Our group is planning to do scuba diving for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. All of us are inexperienced about scuba diving so we want to buy some type of coverage that will bring us back the U.S. in case one of us got injury.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: I own a small civil engineering firm based in Chicago. I have about 20 engineers in my employ, all U.S. residents, at any given time, between six and eight of them will be overseas on consulting jobs, mostly in the Middle East. They don't do the dangerous stuff like operate heavy machinery. But they do visit construction sites. I thought I could get by without paying for accident or disability insurance until last month when one of my guys got severely injured on the job. Can I get a blanket policy that will cover all of my employees whenever they go? How much would it cost?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: I am a freelance photojournalist, and I plan to go to Darfur for a month to document the genocide. I can't find anybody that will sell me a disability policy. Can you help me? I am a 23 year old female.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: I'm an exchange student in the Czech Republic. What type of insurance do I need to get?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: I'll be visiting France for approximately 3 months or more to study. I also may stay longer to seek employment there. I have a health policy in force for another 6 months in the U.S. What type of health plans I should get to cover me there for the short-term as well as long term stay.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Q: My 80 year-old mother and I will be traveling to Russia next summer to visit the town where she was born. We'll be gone three weeks. Is there an insurance policy I can get for my mother that will evacuate her back to the U.S. for treatment if she becomes ill? She's in excellent health, but at her age, you never know. We invite our visitors to share their knowledge and experiences regarding insurance and health care systems in different countrries. Post Comments or Ask Questions
