Disability insurance was designed to protect one of an individual's most valuable assets - earned income from his or her job. If the insured got injured and became disabled while the policy is in force, the plan will pay a lump sump or monthly benefit to the insured according to the terms of the policy. Our international disability insurance is underwritten by Lloyd's of London. It provide coverage for disability that occurred from illness or injury inside as well as outside of the U.S. In order to qualify for Lloyd's Disability Insurance, the proposed insured must have a U.S. connection such as U.S. citizenship or being employed by a U.S. owned company, must work full time year round (30 or more hours weekly), and must be able to verify earned income for the past two (2) years.
